API Based Dual Mic Preamp

I made this unit for Zack Meiers around Late 2006/Early 2007. It’s 2 channels of API 312 preamps using vintage 2520 opamps, vintage API 2503 output transformers, and Cinemag 7501 input transformers.
The output attenuator is a 12dB pad that follows the output transformer, allowing for not only saturation of the opamp, but also output transformer distortion without clipping a +4 system. Great for beefing up weak signals going to digital recorders.
