Short Notice Schedule Change

Sorry for the last minute notice, but I have to leave early today (Saturday) to do some emergency work over at Type Foundry studio. I’m planning on taking off around 2pm.

Thanks for your understanding!

2009…
01.06.09

I’m going to be 28 this year. I still feel so much like a kid sometimes. Especially when I’m playing insanely loud amps like this sunn model T. Notice the “both” input.
Also I’m going to (hopefully) have something special completed at the end of this week… we’ll see at least!

Happy New Years!
01.01.09

Well, it’s officially another year and it’s already looking like it’s going to be a very busy year! Besides the normal repair work, I’ve already taken on another custom amp project for which I hope to a share little bit of the process and effort that goes in to making a Soursound amplifier. More on that another time.
On another note, sometimes when working on equipment there’s a need for schematics or other technical notes to complete the repair. Unfortunately because of the nature of vintage equipment, these documents aren’t always available. Next best thing? Two of the same thing! Here’s a few vintage MXR flangers. Second only to the ADA flanger, these are a prime example of what extremes circuit designers in the seventies were going for. Neat stuff.
