Out of the shop New Years Day

I’ll be out of the shop Thursday in observance of New Years Day.
Open again Friday @ 11AM

Schedule for the week

I just want to let everybody know that I’ll be out of the shop Wednesday the 24th and Thursday the 25th.
I hear that tomorrow will be the break in the storm so I’m going to try and get as much done as I can!

Update: I should be in by 12 - 12:30. I’m getting a ride from someone with some chains!

A noticeable difference from yesterday

When this whole thing started I thought that the local news terming it “artic blast 2008″ was a joke.
I still think that they were fear mongering a tad bit, but I’d be blind if I didn’t notice the eight inches of snow with a layer of ice in the backyard.

If the library can close, maybe that means I can too. Brian Watson said he’s going to try and make it in but I would call first! Either way I’m taking a snow day.

I’m going to venture out to the store and see how bad my pickup performs out there but I don’t have chains so we’ll see how well I do… I’ll just say now that i’ll be closed today but I’ll edit this immediatly if that changes…

slow. I should be in by noon.

Just so people have a little bit of back-story, I drive a little 2 wheel drive mini-truck.  It’s great.  Really reliable, reasonable gas mileage, i can’t complain.  Except when it’s icy or really wet out.  No rear traction = fun on the roads.
Now considering today’s weather reports, I think I’m going to leave early.  I don’t know how early, I’ll wait for as long as I can, but either way I don’t think we will be open until 6pm today.

That being said, please call ahead to see if we’re still around!!  And if you do come down, drive carefully.
